Habits of Human

we humans have a terrible habit of leaving things when it is at their best

we humans have a terrible habit of leaving things when it is at their best; leaving the party at an early hour because we feel we don’t really fit in. leaving our happiest self at the doorstep to adulthood. leaving the people who love us, only because our gesture of love is silent, but the existence of insecurity is hauntingly loud. leaving without goodbyes. and of all, leaving pieces of ourselves, in the hands of everyone we come across and everything we ever do.

.

we become something little less everyday but we don’t seem to understand this commotion of our fragmenting self. maybe it’s not that we don’t understand, maybe we don’t want to know, that we are actually fragmenting. because it would be too breaking that when we finally realize the beauty of a human life, it would be too late to live that life. we would just be another forgotten debris of a colossal creation that once existed and ached. so instead we wear this skin coated with unambiguous sarcasm and roaring songs, but at the end of the day don't we still feel hollow.

.

because pieces of us are given to others. and only pieces of others ease the hollowness. no matter what, in the end it is only people that can fully heal another people. (people need people) Mockery, sarcasm and vilification, they are never the solution to ease the uneven things we feel.

the only thing i am trying to say is, be there for someone, hold their back and make them feel they are not the only one with vulnerable points.

you will never know
when it will be the last time.

  1. A syndrome
    A habit
    Something that we keep doing
And then it becomes our habit

But I believe we can learn to behold things
    Step by step
And one day we will know how to truly be at ease
With either being still or being in a rollercoaster
But it’s something takes efforts and practice
Most often the focus is on something else.

    Cheers. Rightly pointed out habit.
    It’s disappointing and sometimes upsetting.

    1. I agree. Our habits are rather dangerous and most definitely disappointing.
